Track

The LRT system tracks location, trailer air temperature, door status, altitude, speed/movement and heading.  The Living Console provides auto alert notifications of exceptions to selected stakeholders.  The auto alert exceptions include:  appointment alerts, notifying of the timely pick/delivery being in jeopardy, temperature alerts for maintaining specified air temperature within the trailer, door alerts if the door open when the trailer is not at a designated pick or drop.

The exception notification effectively empowers direct-dispatch to the masses, gives traffic personnel the ability to e-dispatch 1000 shipments a day and manage only the loads with exceptions on the Living Console.  In effect, acting in a direct-dispatch environment, opposed to maxing out at thirty loads a day, due to the limitations imposed by time on the phone checking on the progress and notifying driver of dispatch, and dispatch changes in route, only to miss the critical one in the end.

Reporting

Exception notification allows selected stakeholders to receive auto alerts on the Living Console & via e-mail. Exception notifications include auto alerts via e-mail for tracking zones, on time arrivals, departures, track temp, trailer air temp deviation, notification of the temp drop as it occurs in route, notification of altitude variance, and door open/close status at non-pick location. The LRT solution also has Report Cards for the Carrier, Shipper, and Pick up & Receivers that are available to a user via the Living Console.
